With thanksgiving literally only days away, we wanted to list a few things we are thankful for:
- Delivering Over 9,000 Pounds Of Food To More Than 500 Families For Thanksgiving
- Working Side By Side With Our Donors And Volunteers To Ensure A Smooth Thanksgiving Delivery
- Our Amazing Donors And Network Who Made This Event Possible Through Their Donations
For many of us, our most treasured moments were and are spent with family around the holidays. While many of us are lucky to have grown up with thanksgiving dinners with plenty of treats, unfortunately for many children, holidays aren’t guaranteed.
Thanks to your help and donations, we took on our largest number of families. We delivered Thanksgiving baskets to more than 500 families. These baskets included turkey, ham, potatoes and other thanksgiving staples to make the holiday special! These baskets went to families in one of the poorest areas in the valley, and ensure that the children in these families have a delicious holiday meal.
“It was a really amazing experience, and great to see everyone come together for a great cause. Thanks to the board members, volunteers, and donors for their tremendous effort and organization,” said Loren Howard, President of the Valley Guardians.
